5 Hidden Places Mold Could Be Lurking in Your Office or Home

1. Behind Walls and Wallpaper

   Drywall and wallpaper in bathrooms, kitchens, or basements can trap moisture, creating the perfect environment for mold. Water damage from leaks often spreads behind walls, where mold growth can flourish undetected. Signs of hidden mold might include a musty odor, discoloration, or peeling wallpaper.

   Tip: Regularly inspect for leaks around windows, plumbing, and roof areas, and fix them promptly to prevent moisture from seeping into walls.

2. Under Carpeting and Flooring
