“Tx Dry Out and Restoration did a great job with our master bathroom remodel! Our bathroom was really old and had extensive mold behind the shower wall from a leak. So we wanted the bathroom stripped down to the studs and rebuilt from scratch. They removed all the mold and replaced old rotting studs. Replaced the dry wall, moved electrical wiring and lights, moved water lines, and plumbing and replaced our old bathtub with a new modern standup shower. I had also made some changes in the remodeling plans midway through the job and they accomodated my needs readily. I love my bathroom now and they did it at a reasonable price! Oh..i also had them install a heated floor…my feet feel so cozy now when i walk into the bathroom!”

The company did a thorough damage assessment and the owner, Francois Newkirk, took several hours to take pictures and explain to us the issues he saw AND the ways to address the issues. He explained in detail what repairs were required to correct the problem. The repairs had to be done over time and all subcontractors arrived at the times we were given. Francois worked with us to ensure the costs were kept as low as possible. All possible water entry points were repaired. Everyone working on this job were highly courteous and helpful. “Very good. Francois came to the house and inspected not only the damaged area, but the whole house. He found things that I hadn’t noticed. Since he has done work as an appraiser for insurance companies, he knows what to look for as well as how to deal with the insurance company and will go to bat for you to get it fixed correctly. I then had him do the remediation. His crew came out and explained everything they were going to do and answered all my questions. Work was done in a timely manor and they cleaned up afterwords. I was kept up to date on all work. Francois will answer his phone when you call. The man who ran his crew responded well to email and text. They were very busy after the floods in Austin, but found time to slide me in out here in Smithville.”

He had me call a window specialist he recommended and that person told me how to test the window to find out how water was coming in. I did the testing and found the leak and was able to fix the window. I had called numerous other window companies and no one was willing to help but with Francois help I was led in the right direction to solve this problem. He has phoned me several times to make sure things are working properly and advised me how to fix the water damage. Most of all he is respectful and very concerned about doing a good job.
